Ground Beef Chili

When the weather started to get cold here, I decided that I was craving a good pot of chili. I found all kinds of recipes, and kind of made a mixture of several. The result was an absolutely delicious and filling chili, that was super easy to make! I made this a couple weeks ago and didn’t exactly follow a recipe so I can’t remember how many beans I used. I think I used 2 cans chili beans and 1 can kidney beans. Most recipes call for at least 28oz of chili beans… Enjoy!

Ingredients:

 

  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 (15 ounce) cans tomato sauce
  • 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
  • 1 (15 ounce) can tomatoes ( Omitted- personal preference)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cans Chili beans with sauce
  • 1 can Kidney beans, drained

 

Directions:

1. Saute onions, meat, and garlic until brown

2. Add remaining ingredients and simmer for two hours.

3. Top with cheese, sour cream, or whatever else you may prefer!
